ok so i got a 98 hatch with a ls turbo swap and some of the goodies i got on there is 450 injectors, aem fuel rail, 76mm throdle body, bigger intercooler, greddy bost controler and turbo timer, port and polished head, three angle vavle job, block guard, t3/t4 turbo, ramhead manifold, b&m fuel regulator, hondata s300, and i think thats about it. the problem im running into is, i can get it to idle fine i had to turn down the fuel pressure to around 30 to 35psi and when i try to drive it it spits and sputters under the load and im not really sure what it could be. im thinking its the tune on the ecu, but im not sure of that cause the guy i got the ecu from said he ran it at the track on that tune. so im not sure what it could be, when i got the car it had some resistors in some of the sensor plugs and a spacer were a 3 bar is suppose to go, also has one or two plugs not pluged in anywhere, but it supposely ran how its set up now. any help would be helpful thanks

get it tune your car tune.just because he got a tune on his setup doesn't mean that it will work on your setup.just get your car tune.

yea you need to have it tuned on your car and even a bad burn could cause it to run wrong or it could be the idle consuption (iac sensor) thats wat was wrong wit mine

you need a tune for your own car. his tune won't work unless your engines both run exactly the same and you have almost exactly the same mods.

thats the thing it the same one that came with the motor i got with every upgrade i got on it but i think it didnt have the injectors on it maybe
the iac sensor the Idle Air Control vavle is it that or does iac mean something else

he locked it up and i did a stock rebuild to the bottem end and got the head checked and it was fine but everything came with it all mods ecu tranny turbo everything

it was dropped right into a 98 hatch shell after i rebuilt the bottom end

ok i got another question i have gone threw 2 adjustalbe fuel preesure regulators already and about to put another one on there im not understanding why im blowin regulators left and right

ya thats what i was thinkin if dude was tellin me the truth about everything then i should of only had to rebulid and drop in u think haven some of the sensor plugs having resistors in them could have anything to do with it? its the same ones he had when he ran it before

put your stock fpr back on,you should be fine.

and around the memphis tn area there aint really many tuners so i was going to see if there was anything online thats close to my setup but i cant find crap at all

when i do that it wont stay idleing it take the pressure up to 42 or so and floods out my system thats why i was haven to turn it down to 30-35psi

and i dont understand that well i got a inline fuel filter but when i opened it it waqs only the houseing there wasnt any filter in there so im thinkin that might be somewhat of a problem

no one else's tune is going to run right on your car

ya but it will run my car good enough to drive it down the street and in memphis we dont got any tuners that i no of

true. as long as you're getting it tuned, if you want a basemap just to be able to drive it a tiny bit to go get it tuned, just order one from Phearable.net.

thanks man i really appreciate that i just ordered me a 4 bar and a base map and the guy was pretty kool he walked me threw somethings on my car and some advice about somethings also. but again thanks for the help. hopefully this will fix it and it will run a little bit so i can take it to a tuner
