need help on b16a mods

Default need help on b16a mods

heres what i have done so far:

JDM B16
type r cams
stage 2 clutch


ECU

P28 chipped tuned
datalogging

Ignition
Magnacore ignition wires
NGK spark plugs
Mallory hy fire ignition system
Nology ignition coil

Intake
AEBS intake manifold
LS throttle body
Short ram intake w/ filter

Exhaust
Dc sports header
OBX cat back


what else could i do for relatively cheap and be able to see a decent change? my first to second is good but once i hit third it just kinda feels like boggggggggggg. i guess money wise im lookin to spend 350-400 for now

Was the tuner any good at tuning? It sounds odd that it bogs in third. Address that situation first. Once that is figured out, then get a set of Vitara pistons in there and up the compression. I would also switch out that short ram for a cold air. Other than that, you are starting to get into the expensive parts for speed. Short of ITB's, your going to have to reduce the weight to make it faster.

i just told the guy what mods i had then he tuned the chip then sent it to me for 35$. cant beat that lol, it dosnt exactly bog it just feels slow. ill try the intake, whats the best brand?

u can do nitrous, a bigger throtle body. and a tri y header

get an AEM cold air intake with a bypass valve so you don't have to worry about sucking up water especially if your in a state where it rains a lot

A new intake manifold will give you a little extra power. I've always preferred a skunk2 intake mani myself.

this is not considered a tune. unless your car was on the dyno with the tuner making changes based on your actual afr and timing values then you might as well just run the stock map. do you have a wideband? if so what are your afr's?

generally for N/A you need big cams and high compression to make power.
