NEED HELP B16 KNOCKING!!! Need help diagnosing.
My boy got his Ef swapped w/ a B16 xsi motor from Hmo. Hes had it for about 4 months now. It recently started knocking. Its coming from the head around the first cylinder. Any ideas to what could have caused it or what it is? Its not a tick like sound but more of a knock.
I will post a sound clip sometime tomorow. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS.

possible bent valve slapping the piston, has it been over revved and is it throwing a CEL?

No CEL and has the stock rev limiter so i dont know what you mean about it being over revved. Its driven and somewhat beaten on daily.
