Need Help with Axles!!!!
 
hey im a new user tying to learn about my car i picked up a couple of months ago, i have a 98 Honda civic hatch dx with a full H22a swap(unknown year). The other day i went to change the cv boots on the passenger side and noticed the whole axle was wrecked. im lost at trying to find one that will work and fit, i know there are some on ebay but will that fit? Please help, i cant drive it until i fix it :(

the bearings inside are stiff and will barely move, there was a clicking noise when i would back up and turn to

oh damn thanks, but in my last picture only half of the male part has notches in it, and in the link the whole male part is notched. Would that that still work?

That's just the splines. It's fine. Worth mentioning, those axles are listed as out of stock, estimated ship date 5 Dec. You just need to find H swap axles. Look around, and I'm sure you'll find what you need - there are multiple companies who make them.

okay thanks, i have another noob question, does the first picture look stock? The more i work on this car i find nothing at all being stock.

What, the hub, or the brakes? The hub and caliper, yes, either stock, or stock replacement. The brake discs are obviously aftermarket, and you should get rid of them. Get yourself some Brembo blanks. There's a vendor in the marketplace who sells them for a good price, that's where I got mine. The pads kind of look like Wearever Golds (granted, I'm sure they aren't the only company that uses that kind of shim).

yea I meant the hub, but thank you that pretty much solves my headache.
