The amplifier should have come with the remote wire with the clips on the ends for so that it should just plug right in. And like they said, it is blue.

If you are using the factory headunit it will most likely be necessary to tag into the acc/12v+ switched of the head unit. If you try to use the power antenna output for your remote turn-on, your amp will only turn on when you are listening to the AM/FM radio. Most aftermarket decks use a solid blue wire for power antenna activation and a blue/white for amp turn-on. Some aftermarket decks only have one wire but it's either solid blue or blue/white.

Yeah, if it's factory, you can use any switched 12V source, or add your own switch.
Aftermarket, it's blue.

Depends on the radio... theres blue and blue/white. For example on an Alpine you would use the blue/white for amp turnon and blue for the power antenna. Otherwise your amp is going to shut off everytime you play a cd lol.

Okay, if I see ONE MORE of these threads by you, I'm going to lock them all down, as well as any further threads you might create about this. I've seen one too many in the last couple days. Pick a thread and stick with it...

incorrect. with OEM HONDA decks with power antenna outputs, you CAN use it for the amp turn on. the power antenna DOES NOT LOWER when you switch to CD or TAPE modes. i used my accord (which didnt even have a power antenna) deck in my civic for a while with an amp and used the power antenna lead to power my sub amp. i know for sure that integra decks do the same.

Not always. I have a JVC an there is only one blue wire I use for remote and it works. But this blue cable is also for the power antenna. That means as soon as the radio is on, the antenna would be "on", no matter if you listen radio or cd. Don't know how it is at Alpine but at JVC it's the only blue one
