Need help ASAP!
Im trying to install new rotors right now. I took off both of the phillips screws and I cant get the rotor off. Is there anything I need to do to get it off? It seems like its stuck on.

Nope, it's rusted onto the hub. PB blaster and a bunch of good whacks from a sledge should take care of it.
Lube the hub and inside of the rotor where it contacts with bearing or marine grease to prevent it from happening in the future.

just get a mallet and hit it..
Dont GREASE it.. this is something thats normal.. if you can sand down the rust on the hub so you dont get excessive run-out.

I didn't mean on the rotor or braking contact surfaces. After cleaning the rust off of the hub, by putting a small layer of grease there, you'll prevent it from rusting to the new rotor.

you have the replacement rotor right?
you see those holes with the threads inside of the new rotor...not the one for the phillips screws, but the ones that aren't tapered
get to home depot somehow and get a screw that will fit in there, get two of them
screwthem into the one that's stuck to the hub and tighten both of them onto the old rotor, keep turning each one (alternating between the two) until the old rotor pops off
i spent 2 hours trying to hammer (yes...a metal hammer) the old rotors off, i used those screws and it popped off in 5 sec.

very good idea! although it is fun to hit things with a hammer for a while

lol, it would've been more fun with a rubber mallet or something like that, but with all the noise it was making with the metal hammer i was close to going deaf after 2 hours....couldn't understand why it wouldn't come off
those two damn screws only took 5 sec, literally. Just used them last week too, best $0.10 i've ever spent, lol.
