Need Help ASAP, EG suspension problems
ok, so my frineds trying to lower his 95 hatch in the rear (already done in the front) , problem we're encountering is that the self locking locking bolt (14mm) that attaches the shock to the control arm will not get the f*** off. Its only supposed to be tightened down to 40 ft/lbs but im having lots of trouble getting this bolt off. He's considered taking to a shop but they'll charge him an arm and a leg anywhere around here. Any suggestions are welcome, plz help quickly!!!!

Re: Need Help ASAP, EG suspension problems (Peagreenhatch)
This bold you are talking about is one of the harder bolts to take off. On my 92 CX the nut actually broke off. We had to use a torch and cut it out. I would suggest taking it to a gas station and asking them to use their impact wrench. It'll guaranee solve the problem.

dont force it w/ too much torque, if you pop that head off hte nut youre in for alot more trouble. use an impact gun, and liquid wrench
