Default Need help with 95 sol vtec PLEASE

This thing has become the bane of my existance. My flywheel seperated, so I swapped flywheel and clutch out and while I was at it pulled dizzy and vtec solenoid and valve cover as I had a leaking seal somewhere on that end of the engine. Car ran fine when pulled into garage. Tried to start it after and nothing, when it cranked it sounded like it wasn't getting any compression. Had Air fuel and spark, but no start. Pulled valve cover back off and checked cam gears, one was off by a quarter turn, I never even touched that end of the engine, so I was very confused. When I took the belt off the rear cam (intake) was harder to turn than the front. Took the dizzy off and it turned fine, put it back on and it still turned fine, had to be bound up somehow. put it all back together and did a compression test, 180 on all four. Now it will start but runs very badly..very hard to get off idle, but will rev after that. Timing has been set. Getting a CEL of #8 and #6 checked all connections and tehy look good. It hasn't gotten warm enough for a #6 to pop up I'm assuming that's a bad sensor. How do I check the #8?

TIA
Misha

this same stuff started hapening to me yesterday after i did a compression test...the big plug on your distributor...one of the pins came out on mine...so just tug on the wires gently and see if they come out...if they do just push them back in...did that and cel went away

Checked all the plugs, all ok, is there a way to check the sensor?
