need help 95 hatch idles wierd

Icon6 need help 95 hatch idles wierd

just picked up this hatch and when its in park the idle gos between 1k and 2k this also happens when car is in gear and brakes are pushed what could it bethanks for the help

IT could be IACV(idle air control valve). Clean it would with carb cleaner and install it back on. Have you tried adjusting the idle bleeder screw. heres a link that will help with cleaning it.

also check to see what your map sensor reading

Is the CEL ON?

Clean the FITV (and also as mentioned the IACV) on the throttle body and look for intake air/vacuum leaks.

Also check the coolant level and bleed the cooling system.
