Need help with 95 civic with type-R motor..
I have a 95 civic ex with B18c5 motor with skunk2 ecu and im getting ready to install a full Greddy turbo kit with intercooler, bov, FMU, and a manual boost controller. I just installed a Walbro 225lph fuel pump to prepare for the extra need for fuel, and put a blockguard in to help with pressure. Im relatively new to turbo'ing and i was wondering if ya'll could tell me what size injectors im going to need and what else i'll need or want to make a strong/safe system for making 8-12 pounds of boost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'll post some pics of my car and engine ASAP.

Wrong forum but I'm not going to be a dick.
RC 550 Injectors will be fine for that boost level.
Are you going with an engine management system such as Neptune or Hondata S? A thicker head gasket from Cometic wouldnt hurt either, such as a .074 4 layer MLS gasket.
EDIT: How did you install the block guard?

I wouldnt recommend using the blue box that Greddy gives you with their kit. I would recommend either Neptune (which is a free program) or Hondata S200B. What part of FL are you in? I hear South Florida Performance is a really good shop in FL.

Skunk2's specialty is all motor. I would definately reccomend going with Hondata. Take it and have it tuned, it will be the best money you'll spend on your car.
Keep in mind, there's what works and what works right.

True that. But Luserkid is just speaking the truth in a very blunt manner.

True too. But he did say he is new to boost, not just the site, so again I must emphasize what Luserkid had said before about having a more qualified person tune the setup. Otherwise he'll most likely waste an R motor.
Little room for error in the tuning if you're boosting on stock R compression and stock R sleeves. It has to be done right, not used as a guinea-pig project or as a learning process. Well, if you have the money to waste R motors like that, then that's your prerogative.

Re: Need help with 95 civic with type-R motor.. (Screwtape:)
Thats exactly what im not looking to do. Thats why im here at this forum. i just ordered the injectors and im researching the hondata right now.. my mechanic put the blockguard in right. He's one of the few people i trust with my car. it looks like i have to find an ecu because the hondata ems's wont work with my type r P73 ecu.
If anyone knows of any good performance shops around the Tampa, FL area please post them...

Get a P28. You can find them realtivley cheap, then use that for Hondata. DON'T drive the car until you get it tuned. The B18C5 is a high compression motor, and with no fuel/engine management you will surely **** something up fast.
I dunno if i would trust that blockguard... looks cheap.

My thoughts exactly.
Like I stated before. Go on Cometic's website... http://www.cometic.com and get yourself a .074" perferably a .076" head gasket to lower your compression some,. They are $113 shipped. Whatever you do, dont get the .120, they are so thick they have problems sealing right. You'll be fine on the stock sleeves for only 8-12PSI. Stock sleeves shouldnt drop or warp on such a low boost level, even in the R motor, unless your mechanic didnt install the block guard the correct way. Installing the block gaurd the wrong way i.e., by beating it in with a hammer, can oval out the sleeved. A block gaurd really isnt necessary anyway, either keep the stock sleeves or get a sleeve job.
On my stock bottom end B16 with only CTR cams I produced 325WHP/217WTQ on 10PSI tuned on Hondata S200. Of course I had MSD ignition, RC 550 injectors, 255 fuel pump, and the Cometic .074" HG. I also had a Full-Race turbo kit.
