need help 92 civic si hb jdm b18c itr swap
have a couple questions about my motor. i had swapped in a jdm type r motor in my hatch, it runs good but there are a couple things i was wondering about.
first there is a whistle like a vacuum leak. the thing is its at the same pedal position. no matter what gear im in or how fast im going if the pedal is in that spot it will constantly whistle. really annoying.
second thing is, is there a way to find out if the computer is really a itr computer? im wondering because i thought redline is supposed to be around 8k on a itr. the car pulls hard till i get to about 6,000 rpm then it just stops pulling and gets really loud. is this a computer issue or could it be something else.
if anybody could help me out that would be great

Do you have an aftermarket intake? That could cause the whistling.
My brother and I have the same motor and same aem intake. His whistles, mine doesnt.
Go figure.
Look on the side of the ecu, see where it says "P73".
Thats how you know if you've got an itr ecu.
btw, itr motor relines at 8400rpm.
