Just go oem or use quality aftermarket shoes. And I love not having abs, it leaves me in control of braking and not some damn computer.

Go to a junkyard an find an EG Civic Si or a del Sol with rear discs and see how much they are. If you can score them for pretty cheap then go for it. I want to do this, and I will also yank a gauge cluster from an Si and some del Sol seats as well.

If your swapping out the rear drum brakes to a GSR for instance then don't forget the master cylinder, reservoir and porpotioning valve from that vehicle as well. If you don't then you'll have unequal brake balance, brakes that lock easily and more effort to just slow down.
