while i was driving i noticed that smoke was coming out from under the steering wheel and it smelled like burning rubber.....so i pulled over and took my stereo out and it was all burning a and i took the whole wiring out that goes to the cluster and fuse box......it took 2 hours or so to fix every wire but now my car doesn't turn on....it sounds like if the motor was loked but its not and fuel comes out the headers....so idk if i need to replace every wire on my car or what....does any one have any advice? by the way it's a 97 civic ex with a b16

how do you know it will turn over if the car does not come on?

when i plug in the batery it cranks but then it kinda locks or something

its not in gear with the parking brake on is it...lol........man it sounds like you got some bad problems to me

na...lol...idk cause now all my wiring is messed up......when i plug up the batery even though i don't have the key in the ignition it's like if had it and ready to crank it up....it's wierd
