Need Help
Hey i just took my (1997 Honda civic dx coupe manual) into a shop to get a full service oil change, new rear brakes, and both sides of my cv seal axles replaced. Since ive got it back ive noticed my car doesn't really feel right, feels like my cars brakes are pushing down at all times just a little bit, enough to make my car sound pretty loud in 4th gear and going 50mph. Normally it sounds like that when im pushing 80-100mph. Also, my front right tire has alot of wear on it, and i was hoping to make it threw winter and just put my summer tires on it, since im moving to a place where i wont need studded tires. I think the wear on the tire is causing my car's wheel to shake and i was wondering if anyone knows if my hypothesis could be possible. I just threw down 500$ for all the work i got done, and im playing with bringing it back into the place i got it worked on to see if there is anything currently wrong that they missed or made a mistake on. I dont know ALOT about cars, and its really frustrating... Any help would be lovely...

Re: Need Help (kyle1223)
hmmm u know wut u should do it take a jack to lift the vechicle up... inspect the cv booth on the axles.... if u c any leaks then its not replace right... also sometimes the mechanic who put the rear brakes don't adjust the horseshoe(rear breakes) well so they prolly just replace it and bother not to adjust the horseshoe brakes. that can also be the cause of that. check ur oil tooo... to c if they changed it or not. i work at a mechanic shop with 2 years experience and mechanics are rellie expletiveed up people well... at least some but they love cheating custumers who don't know about cars. check man maybe they got cheap parts for ur car that can aslso be it.
