need help

need help car wont start
ok some you might know awhile back that my dizzy was messed up so i finnally get around to getting a new/used one from a dismantler in vallejo any way it came off a 94 del sol so today i go to put it in i hok up the fireing order and plug the connecters in and it still wont start? it has spark. i am sure the fire order is right i put it on the same way it came off? what can i be doing wrong he fire order on the dizzy should be the same?thank you need anykind of info advice would help

3 things to start a car. Fuel, spark and timing.
Check for fuel. Where is Richmond, if its not to far im up for stopping by and helping you.

it is getting gas i can smell it when my girl turned the car over + it has a full tank. the timing wasnt touched and it has spark. richmond is near el cerritto, rodeo, hercules, but the car isnt in richmond it is in jamestown at my grandma's house because i was up here for vacation jamestown is near modesto, oakdale

Did you try turning it over while pressings the gas?
Also did you do a compression test?
Also check all your grounds. Take them all off, grind down the place they sit and put them back. Maybe that could help you.
Also try to push start it and see what happens.

man thats cool that you would help me out like that appreciate it i did not do a compresion check but it shoots air out when the spark plug is out so.. but why would i push the gas its fuel injected? thanks

Sometimes the throttle body gets stuck so you have to give it a little gas to get air in it. Its weird but ive seen this happen to 2 cars so far and holding the throttle works.
Your firing order is correct.
Dont forget its also: 4321(crankpully)

luser kid thanks alot the stepin on the gas as i was turning it over thing worked damn i was f in scared for a minute i didnt know what was wrong (phew) at least i got my baby back on the road again
