Default Need help!!!

What is the major cause of blue smoke coming from your exhaust? I thought it was due to burning oil but I was told bad pistons and rings. Does anybody have any suggestions?

blue smoke is oil,and can come from bad/worn out rings.

I have a 92 civic. Is it worth fixing or should I just look for another engine. Its going to be mainly a daily driver.

well first research the problem, see if it is bad pistons or not, then make your decison from there.

Why!!! I did need help with a question, what does it matter what it is as long as it has to do with an EG+Civic/Del Sol.

no no no...I mean research your car, see if the blue smoke is from bad psitons, not research the site.

because a lot of people won't even click on a "need help!!11!!" post.if you actually title what your post is about you may just attract the attention of a person that knows a ton on your specific problem.
99% of the time somebody makes a post on here,it's because they need help-the other 1% are newbs posting FS/WTB

I would check your plugs see if there oily, and check your compression as well your valve seals......if those are good, good chance its your piston rings and what not

p.s. 95 was right, proably cheaper to just replace them rather than buying a new engine
