You should just post up the questions, and be as detailed as possible. If it's a very technical question that can't be handled by people in this subforum ('92-'00 Civic section), someone will gladly direct you to a more knowledgeable section for your specific questions.

Well as far as your Idle problem, at running temp when it gets warmed up it should be at 800 rpms, advance your timing at the dizzy, and if that doesn't work adjust the idle screw out at the throttle body.

Re: in need a h22a civic guru
I recently picked up a H22 EG and I am on the same boat.
Regarding ride height, It seems like H22's have more of a ground clearance issue compared to B series.
I have coilovers in them so I'm not sure how much it was lowered from stock, but previous setting was too much for the roads in my area, so I had to raise it back up.
I don't have exact measurements, but it currently has 2 finger gap.
I'm running on 205/50/R15's and I think I'm going to upgrade to 16's just to fill the gap/raise the car a bit more.

meh.. imo 18's on civic don't look right...
Plus, in order to fit that in civic, you're going to have to run some low pros, and one good hit on the pothole, they are toast... Well, don't know how the roads are in NC, but hell no in NJ..
and they are heavy as hell compared to 15's & 16's

Re: in need a h22a civic guru
You cant run 300-350whp with an h22 turbo on stock internals.. Its going to blow. You can run it low like on 6-10psi safely but it wont make 300-350whp. To fix your idle problem there are many solutions. Most of them work together. One of the solution is to adjust your idle screw valve. Its a simple fix. Take a flat head screw driver and turn it clockwise or counter clockwise depending.. If that doesn't work, then check your tps which is located on the throttle body. You need a volt meter and you need to adjust it to the appropriate settings. Check how to adjust your tps. If that doesn't work, then check your ignition timing meaning your distributor. Either advance it or retard it. Check how to set ignition timing. As for the 2" drop I have to ask why??? You have a large motor the h22 which the oil pan clearance is a nightmare already. And with drag headers, its even worst. You need to raise it if you care more about your engine then your looks. Just my opinion

Also you basically chopped my words up.. what I said was "You cant run 300-350whp with an h22 turbo on stock internals.. Its going to blow."
Meaning, that a 300whp turbo charged STOCK h22 is possible, however, will it last? nope.. Please dont chop my words around to make an argument.. Its all right there just read it as it is..

Re: in need a h22a civic guru
stock h22a? with just a supercharger? 307whp? comon now... maybe, because superchargers are great for big displacement engines.. but completely stock? and your buddy is only running it for several months now? let me know when its been 2 years DD

yes a supercharger lovefab manifold, and e85. 300 horsepower. youtube it, look up jrsc h22 e85. there is also a vid on there of him doing a rolling burnout pulling a trailer with a lawnmower on it.
and what completely stock honda engine thats boosted last as long as a stock one? ding ding none!
and anyways 6-10psi daily? how does this make any sense?? last time i checked "6-10psi" on a little 14b turbo isnt going to make ****, "6-10psi" on a gt35r could very well get you into the 300hp range...so could you please elaborate for us??
and for the lazy people here is it getting tuned:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-7ahG2hmeo
and here is it doing a burnout with a trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcaySv14k2Q
so please once again tell me im full of **** and that this civic isnt making 300hp and isnt my buddies DD.
