in need of a good recomendation for an exhaust system
I think its really tacky when I'm driving around and I see someone with an aftermarket exhaust system hanging down like 2 inches or more, I'd like to get something that looks natural and is tucked nice and tight up to the back end of my car, and have the tip sticking no more than an inch or so out, does anyone have any good recomendations for one that is good quality and also looks nice at the same time like what I was describing? thanks

How much money do you have? Apexi world sport, the new Rs*R ex-mag, greddy sp (I think) all tuck up nicely and don't cause too much attention. If you have money the mugen twin-loop is probably what your looking for. Or you can always go the stealth route and do custom piping up to a magnaflow or es universal muffler.

I've got a lot of websites for car parts, but none of them carry Mugen stuff, I am familiar with the Mugen name and am under the influence that their products are the best because they specialize in Honda, can you give me a website of someone that carrys Mugen products

Greddy EVO 2 = big gawdy muffler, I've heard many setups that are pretty loud and raspy.
SP 2 = No power gains, some report power loss. But I think it is a great sounding setup.
I would still take a good look at Magnaflow. About $100 cheaper, all stainless, great sound, decent power gains, perfect fit and finish, and a proven name that has been making performance exhaust systems for several times longer than Greddy.

I have the same exhaust as TwistedSI. I hated it when it was bolted to my D16 with no cat, but with my B18 and a cat in there, it just roars. Such a nice deep throaty tone to it, I just love it! Build quality is really nice too. I paid $321 US for mine brand new from a friends shop.

well.. scratch the SP2 and the Evo 2 then, because I'm looking for something thats going to help give me some power, not just sound good(sp 2), and I got looking at some pictures and the Evo 2 is just way to big for my tastes

Spoon N1(I went into looking for a new exhaust looking for a cat back system but this Spoon one is an axel back not a cat back, can someone give me a few details about that?)
also I've noticed some exhaust systems with the muffler on the end, some are more oval shaped like the stock ones and others are more of a cylinder, what would the diffrence be other than appearance?

The axel back muffler is only the last section of your exhaust. Basically from the rear suspenion back. As far as the muffler goes some of them are straight through some are chambered. The more straight through mufflers (cylinder shaped) usually make more power because of less restriction but will probably be louder than the chambered mufflers. (stock-like shape)

I have a thermal catback.... doesn't look horrible because the tip isn't that big... and it is tucked nice and close to the car... it isn't obnoxiously loud either.... i also like the rs-r ex mag

There should be Magnaflow dealers everywhere. Check out their website for a list of Magnaflow dealers, or just phone around.
