Need front end help!!!
Hey guys. I drive a 1997 Civic DX coupe. As I was driving today I noticed a weird thumping sound from my driver's side front end. It's a sort of thumping sound that happens when I'm coasting in gear or in neutral. If I step on the gas or brake pedal maybe 10% of the way or more the thumping stops. When I push in the clutch I can feel it thumping under my foot.
I did recently put on koni yellows but I don't think this is related to the problem since I drove on them around miami for a couple weeks and drove from Miami to Charlotte (740 miles) without an issue. I will say that when I went to get an alignment they told me I need new tie rods. Could this be the issue? Any other ideas? Thanks everyone!
