Default Need exhaust advice, leaning to EVO2 or SP2?

failed inspection today since the stock exhaust pipe is rusted out & no longer connected to the muffler... since I have an AEM CAI & DC 4-2-1 on there ('94 del Sol VTEC) already it's the perfect opportunity to finally get my exhaust on there...

I'm just wanting decent flow without it being too loud and have heard good thigs about the Greddy's. I've been trying to find info on the EVO2 or SP2, can anyone tell me any differences between them? Reading the product info on Greddy's site didn't net much, and I haven't really kept up w/ tuner mags the past few years.

Does anyone have any info they can offer?
TIA,
j-E

both good exhausts from what i hear, i have an evo2 and love it, I just dont like the FAT tip...i mean i like it, but its makes it totally ovious you have upgraded exhuast and takes away from sleeper look. SOUNDS GREAT THOUGH very quiet.

Yeah, I would prefer to not have the coffee-can look too but I'd the appearance is lower on the list than the other features. *shrug*

I have owned an EVO series exhaust in the past and loved the sound/ performance/ fitment. The tip grew on me over time just because it fit the bumper contour well.... I would definately get it again. I would say the main benifit the EVO carries over the SP2 is a straight through mufler design with an offset tip for good ground clearance.

Another option for you if you would like to go low key perfomance would be to get an RSR Ex-Mag. http://www.prostreetonline.com...honda/

good luck with the decision making, there are a lot of options out there.

Thanks for the info. That RSR may be closer to what I was looking for, but being in a rush to get this thing & not wanting to spend over $500 I went ahead & ordered an EVO2 this morning. Any of them probably would've been ok for me, I've been spending a lot more time on my bike these days so am mainly just looking for something to complete the system.

So the SP2 is not a straight through muffler design???
