need a diagnosis si vous plais
a friend filmed my car the last time i was at the track..... when i watched it i noticed puffs of white smoke exiting my exhaust during my launch....... another racer said i was puffing some white smoke down the track as well.....
i asked a mechanic about it and he immediately said i need a new head gasket. i've been keeping an eye on my oil and coolant levels, and neither seems to be dropping...
when i asked another friend of mine he first asked if i was running rich...... the setup is a factory stock (no i/h/e or internals) jdm b18c (gsr) but i do have a walbro high pressure 255lph fuel pump in the car..... and my car does backfire between shifts, so i'm sure it's pretty rich.
i have been looking into the seafoam product for a while because there is a lot of carbon buildup in my intake manifold.... i know that when one uses seafoam the car is supposed to puff white smoke out of the exhaust.........
so, my question is this: do you guys think my head gasket is going? i'm running too rich? or the motor is simply burning off carbon built-up in the head?
any guidance would be appreciated.

Re: need a diagnosis si vous plais (Team 4R)
hopefully it's just a head gasket (which it usually is) and not the head itself or the block. if your positive your coolant ain't dropping at all then i'm not sure.
