Need definitive info: JDM B18C SiR-G and keeping power steering
This is NOT a debate about whether to keep or ditch power steering or what your opinion on power steering is. This is a thread created for users to provide definitive information on what parts are needed to retain power steering.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE DEFINITIVE INFORMATION DO NOT POST.
Installing a JDM B18C engine into ANY 1992-1995 Civic originally equipped with power steering requires what parts?
I have a 92 Civic Si and I'm installing the aforementioned motor. My car has power steering and the swap came equipped with the pump and bracket for the car it came from.

There are no other parts needed. You hook up your power steering hose to the B18C pump and your good to go. I did the same thing..

I think you have your answer, to swap the hoses to the B series pump and that will make the system work. If not, I'm sure there's either a hose from a Del Sol VTEC or some JDM model, or a shop should be able to make a hose.
That, or you could make a new bracket to attach your D series pump to the B series motor. Actually, could this be done? Would a D series PS pump fit on a B series motor?
EK909, while a lot of people agree and prefer no power steering, having it is nice and the OP said he wants it, so the thread is about retaining it.

Upper bracket needs to come from a '94 - '97 GS-R/SiR-G, bottom bracket from any '94 - '97 Integra, original D-series pump bolts right up (it's exactly the same pump as the '94 - '97 Integra pump)
