Yes you can actually, theres a lot of sites on the internet now that you can goto to get all the information you need. Which that and the vin in hand goto your dealer get a key made and Vola https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

i don't know about the dealerships in your area but where i am, you have to show proof of ownership of the vehicle before they cut a key. you can go to your local dept of transportation with a vin # or license plate # to get the owner's info, big deal. but if dealer's are cutting keys without proof, those particualr employee's need to be fired.

havent u seen gone in 60 seconds, the dude payed like $5 for the car owners info. u take that to the dealership n get a key, u got urself a new car

When I accidentally locked my keys in the car (again), I got a ride to the Honda dealership and had nothing to show other than my insurance slip with my name, VIN#, and the price for a key-copy.

All it showed was name of cardholder, VIN# and corresponding vehicle. I didn't have any I.D. on me. I could have had somebody from the street show that same insurance slip.
