Need a cam... Did they make one for a D series that is turbo'd???
Hi I am currently looking for a cam specifically made for a D series (hopefully made just for a D16Z6 ) that is turbo'd. I don't want that Zex crap. Does anyone know where I can get one?

gude makes a turbo cam that puts down 20hp to the wheels but it costs $511.00.

Wow, I can't afford 500 bucks for only one cam.
What do you mean by just a core?

Crowers also have a odd tendency to break in half w/o their valvetrain.
Crower DOHC cams had a "bad batch" the SOHC's have never broken.
EDIT: What a mean by core is that they have blank SOHC cams made and then grind them down to the specific durations and lifts.
They do not fuse new material back onto the cam and then grind to spec. Like a "regrind"

Crower's new D16 SOHC VTEC cores are now available to the general public. No longer will you be subjected to bad regrinds that not only do not perform as advertised, but will also wear out over time...some shorter than others. As usual, Crower offers several different profiles to choose from, including a turbo grind that features short duration, low overlap and high lift for optimum performance. All motor and full race profiles are also available.
Stage 2 - Designed specifically for turbo charged and supercharger applications. Features short duration and high lift. Requires springs and retainer kit

Do you have to use their springs and retainers or can I get other brands that will still work with that cam?

Other brands will work.
The reason you have to use new springs is the fact that the lift is so high that the stock springs will not pull the valve closed in time and the piston will contact. I.E. Stronger springs.
