Default need brake help

Alright i have a 2000 civic ex and put rear disk on my car yesterday. The breaks lock up really nice, problem is i don't like the pedal feel, I have read numerous times on here that the ex and the 6th gen SI have the same size MC and taht the proportioning valve for all 6th gens are the same. So my question is, why is my pedal feel spongy? I bled the system like 4 times, i don't know what else to do. Also what is the proper sequence. I searched and came up with passenger front first, then some say to do brake that is farthest away from the MC first. Can anyone enlighten me on the proper brake bleeding sequence?

your prop. valve is designed to work with drums as it is labeled'3030'. you will need to switch over to a '4040' from any 4 wheel disc 94+ integra or 99/00 si to get rid of the sponginess

brake bleeding sequence (i think)

back passenger
front driver
back driver
front passenger

Again if I remember right thats it, if your pedal still isnt hard try it one more time see what happends. if you hold the pedal down does it slowly go all the way down to the ground?

Yeah if i hold it, it doesn't go down, so i know it is not the mc/booster problem. Hmm, I have always read the proportioning valves on all the 6th gens to be the same, I guess i'll call up honda tomorrow and check. Any other suggestions?

yeah, you want to bleed your brakes, starting from the furthest away from the MC, and work your way towards it...make sure you do a good job and take your time, as to get your pedal as best feel as possible...and yeah, you need the 4 disc Prop valve, good luck...start stopping 50 feet later for lights now eh!?
