need assistance on possible new car
im currently looking at a 94 civic cx i think it is. it has a d15b7 and the whole car has 184,000 miles on it. the guy says he bought it for his daughter and his daughter said she didnt like it. it has a ractive header and a full greddy catback that sounds flawless. also has intake and ignition upgrades yada yada. the motor purrs when idleing and i havent drove it yet but is there anything i should look for on these cars?? it has a front bumper body kit but the rest is stock and one fender is a little messed up, also has projector headlights. hes asking 700 and wont budge at all cuz thats what he paid for it. im currently driving a crx but with a baby its kinda hard thanks guys

Re: need assistance on possible new car (crxricer66)
I know $$$ is a big issue for a father starting out. But I have to say, is there another option? Like a 4 door car?
Beleive me, taking a baby in and out of a 2 door will get old real fast. Plus, the G5 Civics don't have the LATCH hooks for car seat. You'll have to use belts, which IMO, it's not as secure.
A good friend sold his mint fixed up Mustang GT. If it's your only car with a kid, it's not going to work in the long run.
$700 sounds like a good deal, but take another look from a father's perspective.
