Need Advice on Choosing the Best F/R strut bars?
I was wondering from you guys experience to what you have or driven in, who makes the best strut bars?
I was looking at a ITR oem strut bar for the rear since its simple and nice, but its also a 2 piece and might not be worth the $150 shipped? what do you guys think?
i would like something more of a 1 piece sturdy design.
also for the front i have a 95 eg so that limits the use of the shock tower screws because i dont have them, im limited to the shock screws but also every strut bar ive seen is 2 piece which i know will eventually flex. the neuspeed is nice because its very rigid, but wanted to know what other options i have?
any ideas?
i like how the itr rear one looks and does it perform as well? is it worth it?

You want something that connects to the front a-arm bolts, not the shock bolts. Go Neuspeed or a similar bar.
Anything with pivot points doesn't do crap, especially w/ shock mounting points.

spoon or skunk 2 bars are pretty nice also the JIC strut bars use the holes in the inner fender areas not the bolts on the pillow ball

Neuspeed is pretty stiff from what I have heard, you can't go wrong with mugen... but then again you might have to check with spoon to make sure its alright to get mugen bars y0! BTW I am just ******* with you.

I got the neusped front strut bar and it's awesome and it doesn't move period. yeah those other type of strut bars that uses the pivot point type sucks a*@
and don't do anything. the neuspeed one really change my front suspension tightness and character of the car. go to their website, you can buy the strut bar for $89.99 or less I think.

check out a carbing bar. it is a triangular bar which also bolts up to the firewall. However if you plan to auto-x, it is illegal in some classes.
also the skunk2 front bar is a good choice.

I like what Benen has to offer, a triangler for the front and solid one-piece for the rear. When I get done with the rest of my power mods I will be rounding out my suspension with their products.

Dollar for dollar the Ebay "copy" Type R bars are the best. Don't laugh, they are. They aren't pretty or perfect in construction, but they are pretty stiff and supportive.
Cusco "Os" are very good, slightly better than the Spoon and Skunk.
Carbing, Benen and Mugen are Awesome.
Money coming, I choose Mugen.
Straight bars without any pivot points (1 piecers)

the more rigid the better. My favorite are the newer style Mugen ones. EXCELLENT welds and VERY strong. Although, they will set you back 540 bucks!
I have a first gen Mugen replica off ebay for 40 shipped. It mounts on the shock tower and the inner fender on each side, and is actually pretty strong. Noticed a huge difference. No need to go with name brand, as long as it's tough and durable.

Carbing or Spoon...
Carbing or Spoon...
Carbing, JGE, and Benen triangulation are nice as long as you don't autox or deal w/ the SCCA because it's totally illegal in most/all classes for some reason.

i had the 2nd gen mugen in the front and repalced it with a benen 3point and noticed a difference, and the mugen bar is awesome to start out with... i say benen or carbing in the front, benen or mugen in the back.
