Need ac help for a 1998 honda civic, installed, fan not working?
so heres the run down, my car had never had ac before, and then i bought an ac system for cheap ( like $40) , he even installed it also. well that was winter so i couldnt really test it back then to see if it was working or not,
well its summer time now, and i recharger my ac system and it doesnt blow cold ac at all. when i push the ac buttem (bought one then plug it in) the fans doesnt even blow. it lits green also.
so whats wrong with it? i kind of need help figuring this out cause the weather is hella hot outside and i need my ac!

1.check the fuse good.
2. when you mean power at relay i dont think anything is being powering on, it sounds like it does when i push the ac button but im not sure.
3. havent done that. dont know how to do it either.

Check installed hood fuse 56 and dash fuse 17 with a multimeter or test light. Click Test Fuses link in my signature. If these two fuses have battery voltage at both top test tabs, then swap the condenser fan relay with the compressor clutch relay to see whether the condenser fan now runs when the A/C is turned on.

You need both relays, as well as fuse 56 and 17. Hmmm...$40 installation. Did he install the evaporator, condenser, and compressor, along with the needed wire harnesses? Was the system evacuated and then charged with refrigerant? Did he wire the clutch relay to the ECU?

ok i will get the other one tomorrow , i think i have the fuse installed already i will check,
as for the parts he installed i think he did, he went in my glove box and switch something in there and i think he wire everything,
as for the system itself we didn't flush it, but i don't think anything was in there to be reflushed, and i reflush it and recharged it about 3-4 times i dont notice a thing, then again non of the fans dont turn on when i push the ac button, and as for the wire in the clutch relay to the ecu im not sure but
heres a pic of thing wire i found, on wire thing is attach to the ac so i think its plug?
once i get the cluth relay, what should i test first? should i just turn on the ac and if the fans still doesnt turn what could be it?

so i got the other relay( the cluth relay) plug it in and still nothing is working,
i put the ac on blast, it lites up green, check the fuses if they are blown, havent checked the power to it, and sitll nothing happens,
everything looks plug right, the ac belt turns, when i push the ac button, the fan doesnt even spin for the ac, even the condersor fan either, i check the ac system for how much it has, and it has 45 psi in it from yesterday to today.
so what could be wrong? doesnt the fan turn automaticlly when you try to charge the ac system?

Are the connectors for the A/C pressure switch on the receiver/dryer and the A/C thermostat on the evaporator behind the glove box plugged in?
How many wires and what color wires are attached to the unplugged connector in the picture in post #8?
