Default NEC ICM vs. Hitachi ICM
what is the difference between the 2 ICM's ? and would it matter if they were interchanged ?

nec is good, hitachi are the ones that where recalled in the ek dx's/lx's/hx, nec

ya go with Nec. Ive had 4 Hitachi's and they all burnt out

so there isnt a difference besides the diff years they were put in ? eg=nec, ek=hitachi ?

Hey all,

I am new here and wondering where I can find an NEC ICM for my '95 Civic EX?

I am toying with buying a rebuilt dizzy from Auto Zone because both ICM and Coil are dead and it is cheaper than buying the individual parts.

Any suggestions??
