Default name anything possible that could cause an idle of 3.5K rpms constantly??? DX motor

i swapped the head on my CX to make it a 16 V DX and i used the 91 SI intake mani and TB. it was fine for a while but lately the idle is at like anywhere from 3.5K to 2.5K always.. i have no air leaks. its not the head gasket . and i cant figure this out.. i replaced the IAC valve , it still does it.. ive checked everything i can but nothing helps.. when i pull the hose out of the map sensor it goes normal for a sec then i hear a big air rush and it goes back up/ what could do this? what is that sensor on the side of the head? the white plug? could that go bad? how about air in the coolant system? i tried to bleed it but i only drained the radiator coolant to do it? do i need to drain the whole block? name anything u think could cause this.. it runs great but the idle is way off. the screw doesnt do nothing neither.. its all the way in. it happens with any intake mani too . so it cant be cracked// anyone???

Check to see if any of your vacume lines are leaking. Also you have to get all the air out of the coolant, just use your bleader screw for this. Low levels of coolant will not cause an idle like this, low coolant normally makes your idle go from like 2200 to 1000 then back up again very rapidly but just keep your coolant reseviour full.

It's your TB Cable, move it down more and it won't idel so hight, it if it already down, IT HAS TO BE a Air Leak, thats the most common thing to happend when you swap the intake manifold.

when i did my intake manifold swap from my d16y7 to the d16y8 race manifold. If you look near the fuel regulator (stock im going to get a new one soon, the thing with the yellow line going to it) i had to move over the tb braket and leave it there for the cable, in order to have it idel right, it idels about 1.4k thats more then i want, but when im going it's about 900, which isn't great, i hate driving in parking lots, im don't have my foot on the gas and im going like 20mph.

well i know its not the throttle cable cause even when its off it still idles like that.. also , if there was an air leak wouldnt it bog down when i spray carb cleaner or starter fluid to make it go up? but it doesnt do this anywere i spray it? i dont know. i have a Venom Fuel rail. could this be making it mess up?? even when i turn the car off it still takes like 2 seconds to shut off completely . the timing is right but i dont know/ ??? this is an unexplainable prb that needs to be fixed.. a 3.5K idle in the cold isnt good... could a distributor cap and rotor going bad cause this?
up
