n00b question - front version of LCA's?

Default n00b question - front version of LCA's?

What is the correct term for the front equivalent of the lower control arms? Every link I find for them always says rear.

The front lower control arm. Thats what Ive always called it, and Im pretty darn sure thats what it is refered to as. Why?

They are called lower control arms, but officially called front lower arm assemblies from Honda.
