n00b---NEW TURBO SETUP HELP---Civic Si-R Type-VTEC
n00bx0r i am..ok so i pretty much ordered all the turbo parts i needed for my car about a month ago(Civic SI-R Type-VTEC)..t3/t4 turbo..AEM coldair intake..DC sport racing headers 4-2-1..ebay BIG FMIC..HKS SSQ bov..tial wastegate..well me and my friend have been working on the car all week..for some reason..the turbo won't bolt on right onto the headers? did we order the wrong one?..he suggested bolting the turbo between the intake manifold and the actual cold air intake..i'm not sure that works..any suggestions?

Whoa, you need to do a lot more research. You need to lose the DC header first of all and get a turbo manifold, the cold air intake needs to go, and you need to get some charge piping made. You need a fer more things to get your car going with the turbo. You need oil lines, downpipe, turbo manifold, charge pipes, some type of engine management.
The turbo will not bolt onto the dc header because its not a turbo header, and tell your friend to not give you any more advice on your car lol. But i would check the turbo section of this forum and read a little bit about the stuff you need for the turbo kit. God luck.

man, there are plenty of turbo websites to go to. please research, and not just on honda-tech. good luck man, and when u do boost, dont go mad insane with the numbers. good tuning on stock internals, u should be good around 7 lbs on a d series. have fun with the thing more addicting that drugs and sex....boost!

This is by far the gayest thing I have ever seen.
Just make sure you run the exhaust into the car through the firewall, that way it'll sound better to you and your passengers. And keep the windows up while you're at it, we don't need you to let out those super JDM turbo fumes.
