Exhausts are Chassis specific.

No difference except for size I would imagine.

Purchase an exhaust for the vehicle, not the motor.

Until it comes to headers you would need b18c1 headers.

All B series have the same bolt pattern "header". They are not "headers", its not a V8. The only difference between a Gs-R stock exhaust manifold/B-Pipe is the way the flange is clocked.

you guys buy mufflers from the chasis? who cares. its a muffler. slow your rolls.
doesn't matter. the 60mm is the diameter. it might be a lil different or have different hangers but a muffler shop can fix that in less the 2 minutes.

get the 60mm and no nothing besides size. and the 105 would be louder.

x2 he is correct, if there is going to be any difference its goint to be in the flange, depending on the header and cat you are using.

Ya they are called headers and civics have d series engines except for the si so therfore you would need different HEADERS than what would go on a d series. So he couldn't get a honda civic full exhaust and put it on there because the headers wouldn't match up.

No they are not. Header. As in ONE. A V-6/V/8 has headers. As in TWO. Plural VS. Singular. Moot point since the OP asked about a MUFFLER. Not a whole exhaust system. This is what happens when people can't keep it on topic.

No, you would need a different "header". You're making yourself look stupid.

Ok well you would need a different header not headers. Yes i do own a honda but i don't soup it up its not worth it it is my everyday car because its reliable. I once was souping one up and realized it was the most ignorent thing to do and i'm not 17 anymore so i bought something that'll go fast. The fact of the matter is you guys are acting like i don't know what i'm talking about when i do. Just because i called them headers doesn't mean i don't know what i'm talking about. In what i said i was right. I think the op can understand that headers means header...... Also i was not going off topic he ask about muffler and i was just making sure that he knew that he had to get different header... lol wow. Because mr. eg said exhaust are chassis specific. I wanted the op to make sure he knew thats tru until it comes to the headersssssss. It wouldn't even sound right saying header its headers when your talking about them you guys are just *** holes trying to act like you are so much smarter because you can call me out for saying headers not header?

Why would he have to get a different header just to put a muffler on? He asked about a MUFFLER. You know you can get a muffler welded on to the end of an exhaust pipe don't you? A header has nothing to do with it ESPECIALLY since the OP said he HAD a 2.25" exhaust (as in ALREADY). You SURE you own a Honda? It was on topic until you mentioned "headers".

Aren't you the one browsing Honda-Tech giving feedback? Not everyone here has the goal of having the fastest car. Some people are here because they actually enjoy Honda's.

Anyways, to the OP, buy the muffler for the car you have. OR if you buy a universal muffler, an exhaust shop can fit it for you easily.

Ok well like i said i was just trying to make sure he knew that he needed a different header if he is going to do that but i didn't realize he said he already had a exhaust. And grumble marc your just being a smart ***. Quitt trying to prove people wrong and start giving advice and worry about yourself. All you are trying to do is start trouble and all the others just follow along with you.

Typically for a quick swap you would need a muffler from a 92-95 Civic, but if your going to a muffler shop they can weld and fit almost anything. I would purchase a Magnaflow muffler. It will flow better than stock and it's not loud. They are fairly inexpensive.

I am sorry OP, I thought you needed a "cat-back" type exhaust. Yes still follow the chassis specific rule. EG's axle backs are different from other chassis considering they take a high loop over the LCA.

Stop giving messed up up information and I just might do that. I wasn't the one that came into the thread insisting I was right &, insulting all Honda owners when your reading comprehension skills are lacking. And I'd rather be a smartass than a dumbass.
