Default Myths / Questions about CTR Mirrors..

I'm looking into buy some CTR power adjustable, non power folding mirrors. A couple of things that I do know is 1) robear racing sells knock offs (I dont want those) and 2) that the glass is switched (concave / flat). My questions are:

1) I've heard that the glass from USDM ITR will work in the CTR mirrors AND correct the RHD glass problem. Can anyone confirm this? If so, the Acura part #s do interchange with Honda as well.

2) For the people that have switched over to LHD glass, is the vision still fucked up? I was hearing things about having to fully adjust your mirror one way or another just to be able to see correctly out of it, even AFTER getting LHD glass for the housings.

Thanks

All but two countries in Europe use LHD cars. So if you order power mirrors from somewhere in Europe, you won't have to worry about the glass.

Myths?

Myth: Many people on Honda-Tech believe CTR mirrors give you 20 extra hp.

But it could solve your problems altogether.

Your best bet (if you MUST have JDM mirrors) is probably 1.6EL glass. The Integra glass probably is too long if anything.

IMO, it's not hard to see out of JDM CTR mirrors. Just adjust them and drive with them for a bit and you'll get use to them.

I feel wierd driving a car now ith LHD mirrors.
