Re: Mystery plug
thermo switch for the rad fan. The switch screws into the thermostat housing on OBD1/OBD1 engines, OBD0 used a different setup and the switch was on the back of the block and used a different plug.

Re: Mystery plug
could possibly be for the power steering switch which if the car does not have power steering its not needed. he would need the thermo switch plugged in for it to operate correctly. so if its running with no CEL i guarantee its the power steering switch plug.

Re: Mystery plug
Must be power steering I deleted it when I put in the obd1 engine. Thermo is plugged in. The power steering switch was plugged into the IAVC which caused a cel. Now that I have the correct plug on my IAVC I am still getting the cel even after I reset the ecu via reverse light fuse.

Re: Mystery plug
I am getting CEL 14 for IAVC. I was getting this CEL before but I had the mystery plug plugged into my IAVC. Now I have the correct plug in my IAVC and I am still getting the CEL. I have included a picture of the mystery plug.
