Default Mystery block identification

Someone gave me a wrecked EG civic. It's got a modified drag stage 3 turbo kit with 440 injectors, B16A block, S4C tranny and PR3-4 Head.

Pulling it apart, I found a round stamp on the block under the turbo manifold that said "Pioneer Void if Removed". Anyone seen a stamp like that before? Is it a builder stamp?

Is it a little tab, look like it is glued on? If so, it is a heat tab. Some machine shops put tabs on like that for warranty stuff. If the engine overheats, the tab pops off.
