Mystery Block..!?@
I was in my friends garage looking for a few parts. He told me to just look around in the "attic" or his garage. He had about 10 efs during his highschool time. So needless to say, there are ALOT of parts kicking around up there.
As I was looking.. I came across a block, no head, and pistons just sticking out. Didnt think much of it. I looked at the block stamp. But there werent ANY numbers / letters. I figured someone had shaved it. But where the stamp is suppose to be, is raised just like one should be, had a nice finish on it, but just no numbers.
Can Anyone explain this?

The pictures arent the greatest, but The texture of where the numbers / letters are SUPPOSE to be, is normal, it isnt shaved down, and there is NO markings of ever having any numbers / stamps
Anyone ever seen anything like this?

Look on the bottom of the block. Some have markings like pm6 or whatever and that might be able to help you identify it. Usually under the oil pan and since its not there you might be able to check.

Re:
Tell me something, if it had a stamp it would say maybe d16z6 right or anyother d-series stamp. If it were stolen why would someone take the time and energy to shave that off. Honda mad how many millions of blocks with that same excat number on them. Pretty smart theif hunh, he must have fooled everyone with that!
P.S that block is mine and I paid $200 for it because it had a v-tec head for my mini-me swap.
