Re: My ZC Swap (iamthefollower)
Well it is not tuned at all. I am also using my stock ECU, only because I did a lot of wiring and I could really afford an aftermarket one. So under the circumstances it runs really well.

ZCs are fun My friend had one in his '95 hatch. You should get a proper distributor though. (OBD1 ZC distributor case and shaft/bearing plate assembly with OBD2 CYP/CKP/TDC sensors would probably the easiest option)

Yeah the distributor is a Frankenstein of several. But the OBD2 computer need all of the sensor for no CEL and it only really fit in that housing, it was all crazy.

OBD2 CYP/CKP/TDC sensors will fit an OBD2 case and vice versa, OBD0 is completely different though. You can also use a combination of a D-series distributor and a B18A1 cam cap and get one bolt in.

Only that i'm not feeling the blue. Otherwise the swap looks good Would really, really like to see a turbo DOHC ZC, my buddy had good intentions of turboing his, he bought a turbo and manifold and then he sold the car.

I am planning on it sometime after I get her all tuned up... But I really didnt build it for that. It has pretty high compression, really its all about money and time. Daily driver. Took about 2 months to get it to where there were no CEL. I am thinkin Megasquirt Computer and some wideband o2 sensor. Kind of a must.

Well the dohc zc is like the D16a from an 87 integra and the single cam vtec zc's are just like a d16z6

Other than the OBD1 DOHC ZC distributor everything can be found in north america. You just have to know what to ask for. DOHC ZCs are pretty similar to the D16A1 found in the '86 - '89 integras. (headgasket, valve cover gasket, timing belt, water pump, plug wires) Distributor sensors can be taken from an OBD1 or OBD2 D or B series distributor as long as you have the OBD1 ZC case and shaft/bearing plate assembly. Exhaust manifold is the same as a D-series except that the ports are a little to one side, so you need to grind some of the header/manifold flange slightly one one side of each port.

Re: (SOHC_4dr)
the timing belt, head, pistons and such all work... just the distributor, injectors, and such all has to be done like ur other swaps are.
