My very first build!
Hey guys I'm new to the forum!
I might be the youngest honda member here due to me being 16
I am about to finish school and I'm looking to build a civic to run on the local track which sucks to be a 1/8
Here's a list of the motors I have
B18c1
B16b doubt is any good
B16a
B20a2
Which do you guys think would be the best for a turbo build for a amateur?

Re: My very first build!
Hey dood, welcome to Honda-tech!
If you're curious, check out the sticky at the top of the forum with regards to the different engines. Everyone has their preferences and reasons for running each of those motors you have listed.
It all boils down to what you want to spend in the end. do a ton of research as well. there's a lot of info on Honda-tech if you search.

Thanks man!
I know a few things about the honda motors so far thanks for the tips up!
recently discovered that the b16b was blown by my cousin with 200 shot of nos...
I was thinking about doing the b18c1 with the b16a head with B18c pistons and a Type R tranny lsd

Re: My very first build!
If you're going that route, you may as well save up and find yourself a complete ITR motor and tranny.
here's the link at the top: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/engine-swap-info-faqs-how-ck-engine-lights-878010/
Read up and search the forums for your answers. a lot of what you'll probably ask has been covered before

Re: My very first build!
my build is a gsr block bored .05 over stock w/ ls crank rods and pistons bored, b16 head w/ gsr cams and mild valve job, b16 lsd tranny w/ streetlite flywheel. I used ALL arp fasteners to hold it together and had the rods rerounded and balanced with the new pistons on them.

if u wann boost i would do the b18 bottom end with the b16a top end and use the ctr intake cam. i wouldnt boost with the type r pistons. just save up for some low CR pistons
