Default My turnsignals dont work!!!

Well today my amber corners and black projectors came in, and I thought the install would be simple, and i though it was pretty easy althogh there was a slight complication (the turnsignal connector was torn off in an accident, so I had to jimmy up another one, but that is not the problem, I checked already and made sure).

When I start the car and turn on the lights, the parking lights are both on and they are at the brightest level (dual filament bulbs), and thats not the problem, a big problem for me is that the rear RIGHT signal light is on, it doesnt flash it is just on.

The weird thing is that when I try and use a turn signal, the speedo, tack, gas and temp gauges all stop working....and it pops the backup lights fuse each time....

This is a perfect example of why you DO NOT goto a ghetto stereo shop to get an alarm installed, the story goes like this....I went to a ghetto stereo shop and got my system installed (this was a dumb move, when i first got the car and knew nothing) and they installed the speakers in the door fucked up (the windows would not roll down) and the installed power locks and an alarm for me.

Well 1 year later, the alarm starts to go crazy and go off all the time, while driving! And the power locks stop working, and eventually the alarm would go off and never stop so I had to cut it....and now this shop is closed.

Ever since there have been electrical issues with my car!!!

How much do you think it would cost to rewire MOST of the stuff under the dash?

Well if you installed aftermarket speakers, chances are you're windows aren't going to go all the way down due to the base of the speaker. It's a known problem, I have the same problem, and so do others. Theres a member here on H-T who sells speaker adapters for 25 bucks shipped. I forgot his name though.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that this was all done almost 2 years ago, since then the speakers are in kick panels and now there is a major short somewhere that pops fuses and I dont know how to find it?
