my turbo del sol wont start?
i own a 94 turbo with h22 vtec del sol but my car wont start. when i try to crank it you can hear the starter spin but wont catch on. then i put in a new starter worked the first day i put it on then the next day same problem as the old starter waht could it be? im tryin to get my car runnin so i can go smoke the rich boys that spend like 50g's on there brand new cars and i only spent 10g's on mine

Are you using the right starter? Do you have spark plugs in? I had this one cat that said the same thing after building his crap, said the starter wouldn't catch, and his stuff reeked of fuel, he forgot to put in plugs, so the motor just spinned and spinned, dumbass~!

yea i also put in new spark plugs it worked perfectly fine the first hour then after that it wouldnt start. after i built my **** it was fine for about 3 months then one day when i got out of school the car wouldnt start. but when i push start it starts up fine. then sometimes after i drive the car turn it off and turn it on it starts. So i dont know whats goin on

a friend of mine had a similar problem...car would stall and wouldnt start...then outta nowheres the next time it starts fine...when it wouldnt start by turning it over we'd pop start the bitchand it was run fine...then stall again

wait so my cars useless? cuase i went to amechanic and he said either it was a bad starter or the flywheel is stripped. but i put in a new starter same ****** problem so do u think it can be a stripped flywheel?

if it is i can get a brand new clutch and a brand new flywheel put in for 250 includin labor. i know a white guy thats a certified mechanic but hes a mute but hes a good fren though

Are you sure you are getting spark and fuel?? Do you hear the pump come on when you turn the car to on?? Does it pressurize fuel in the rail??? Check to see if you are getting spark. Sounds like the dizzy or ignitor might be going bad.

its the same as a civic/h22 swap nothing special
and take your starter to autozone have them test it
it sounds like, TO ME, your starter solenoid is bad.
while the starter is out look at the flywheel teeth for any missing or severly damaged ones.

when i took out the starter i saw the flywheel and all the teeth are still there what could be the problem im tryin to get my car runnin. oh yea no scanner cant post pics but ill try to get them up soon
