My trunk is allowing water inside my cabin!!!
Hey guys/gals how are you all today?
For those of us in the Md/Dc/Va, we got a lot of rain over the past weekend and my car was parked in front of my mom's crib. Everything looked fine until I got in the car and noticed a strange smell, but I didn't pay any attention to it. I started my car and as I took my foot of the clutch; splash!!!, water underneath my driver's side carpet and behing my seat. I got out and popped my trunk and my driver side trunk area was soaked, but the middle/passeneger trunk space was intact. I examined the trunk interior and didn't find any cracks at all. It is frustrating to no end!!!! My car smells like a wet dog, even after I vacuumed and deoderized the the entire interior.
If there is anyone out there who can lend some advice, I would gladly appreciate it so much.
Thanx- T.Harris

check your weather stripping.
mine leaked only in the trunk never in the actual car and it was because of a rust spot in the rear wheel well, i just drilled a hole in the bottem of my trunk.

It is not that expensive to get the weather stripping fixed at a dealership I do not know where else to do it but that should fix it. I would go price the weather stripping first though
