My Tach stopped working...Help??
A few weeks ago, I was driving and the tach was working fine, the next thing I know, its dead. I swapped out the tach, thinking something was wrong but nothing. I check the connections, everything appears to be connected and grounded good, the tach gets power, but the needle doesnt move. Anyone had this prob?? If so, what should I do. I have been told maybe the Dizzy is back, but I am not have car probs yet, just the tach...What could it be?

Does your speedo or tach work?
Check the fuse. There is a fuse in the under dash fuse panel that controls both of those. Unfortunately, I don't have my papers with me to see exactly which one it is.

Re: (poison)
Well, the tach that I am using is an AutoMeter 5" Monster Tach, and I just changed the speed sensor recently because my speedo stoped working. Anyhow, its is wired to the Dizzy correctly, as it has not been re-wired since it was installed, and all the ground and power wires are fine. My speedo works fine, but I have no signal going to my Tach....help....
