Yeah, that seems like a decent price. But...for that price you could buy my hatch already swapped. He he.

you should try to swap it yourself. it's quite simple. plus you'll be saving $700 you could use for something else and you would've gained the knowledge of knowing how to do an engine swap.

The bad thing about having a shop doing it is...if anything breaks, your not going to have a clue how to fix it. Although sometimes doing it yourself is just not an option.

That sounds like a pretty decent price for labor though. I'd say go for it, and see if maybe they'll let you observe while they do the work.

Actually, that's near Pasadena.

Modesto is probally a good 5 1/2 hours from me, about 313 miles.

Sorry for the confusion, I thought you offering to do a swap for me for $$ but Modesto is too far for me.

I have decided to do this swap and have paid $1000 deposit already.

Thanks anyways....

congrats on the swap, good luck with everything. You'll love the power of the b18c once you get it in.

yeah good luck. hopefully you picked the right spot. and i prolly wouldn' t ask to watch. no matter how unthreatening you try to come off as. it sucks to have the owner watch over your work.
