My friend got my swap last night and he ended up getting me the D15 block with the 00 Vtec head on it. He said that the D16Y8 that was there had oil leaks and something else which I dont remember. Last night he told me that the engine was a D15B8 but before he said it was a b7 now there is a big difference in that. Is it even possible to hvae a D15B8 with a 00 Vtec head? Because ive been trying to find something with it and I cannot find a single thread or topic about it on any forums. I haven't been able to get ahold of him today but I was just wondering if its possible and what the compression ratio would be on it, because he said it would be like 9.2:1 or so.

d15b8 is the civic cx motor and is an 8 valve 70 hp engine you can do a mini me swap but imo its just a waste of time and money.

ya i know what it is. I found out its a D15B7 anyway. I thought it would be dumb to do a mini me on such a crappy engine.
