My Stickin Civic is Throwing code 12
I have a 93 VX an i recently swapped a D16z6 into it. Everything runs fine but now its throwing code 12.
Which is....................
EGR Lift Sensor (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)
If u guys an gals know the d16z6 did not come with a EGR an the vx model did.There is a black box on the vx wall which has 2 little hoses coming from it. 1 hose goes from the black box to the egr an hose 2 goes from the black box to the intake manifold.
All i want to do is get rid of this damn engine check light.
Here is a crappy pic of the vx motor an the black box i was talking about.
(I drew 2 red lines which are the hose line an circled the black box)
