my setup
We'll im finally going to start piecing together my motor today. I want to be running low 13's in my coupe.
Here is what i have done to my motor (b18c1) so far:
ported skunk2 mani
dc sport headers
skunk2 exausht w/full piping
aem cai
aem cam gears
65mm edelbrock throttle body
b16 tranny
im going to order pulleys a fuel rail, nology wires and 440cc rc injectors.
my question is, my friend is selling his dry nos kit, with a 80 shot jet on it... which im going to buy. but my motor has like 120k on it... should i buy it and keep the 80 shot or buy like a 50 shot jet. or should i just wait until i build my internals a little more
i dont know much about nitrous, and how it affects my car if i use it often... somebody want to enlighten me?

low 13's in a ek? stock motor? why are u buying 440's with a stock motor? u need to fully build thta motor to get into the low 13's. I made 200 whp on my b20 block, and i was maybe a 13.6 in a ek on strete tires. i'd start with cams, forget all the other stuff get some good valvetrain, and some larger *** cams

I don't know what you spent on those mods, but whatever it was should've went to cams, turbo setup, or nitrous. Nitrous is only as good/safe as the installation and a quality tune.
By the way: nitrous is going to be your cheapest way to get low 13s. All motor and turbo will cost a lot. Low 13s all motor, no slicks on a full weight ek will be a $4,000+ adventure, easy.

screw the pulleys, fuel rail, and injectors. get some ngk or factory wires. spend the money on cams to take advantage of your TB, IM, cam gears, header (no 's'), and exhaust. without the cams, you don't gain much with those parts. then get it dyno tuned (with or without the nitrous) and you'll see some good #'s.

i have an ej. and yeah, eventually im going to buy some toda cams, but i wont see those for a couple months... also i forgot list my hondata s100
