Had the hood for a little over a year and it looks as if its starting to bow a little bit
what should i do?

It's carbon fiber and it's aftermarket. **** never fits perfect.

dont put a cf hood on your car

I don't know for a fact but It might just be from flexing over time from the air. Especially since you don't have hood pins. I don't have Seibon but my CF hood is doing the same thing and I've owned it for about 2 years now. Just like when people say CF is strong, yea, but brittle. So it wouldn't surprise me if what were both seeing is common. Maybe not this early in its like but there are also different factors in the way everyone drives and how its going to be on the car. For example I think mine is as bad as it is because I like to rock no front bumper so air is def. going to get under it alot easier than if I had a front bumper blocking some of that air. That and highway driving because the faster your going the more force thats going to be on it. Dunno for sure but thats my guess so if I'm wrong, don't beat me.

and honda guy it did fit perfect ive had it for a year and now its doing this ****

I didn't say that it didn't used to fit perfect, I'm saying now it does. CF parts never hold their shape over time. My friend had a VIS CF hood on his Del Sol and all the gel coating was cracking and the hood was beginning to warp and fade. Keep in mind this was over the course of maybe 1.5 years.

yea i take really good care of my hood
everytime i wash my car i always wax it and i mean always
sucks that its starting to look like that tho

i dont remember where i heard it but i read waxing over time kills the clear coat on cf hoods. i could be wrong though

ya waxing cf is the worst thing you could do to it other than breaking it or taking a dump on it
