Default -- My radiator spits out coolant, frequently. Help! --

I have to fill up my radiator and the reserve like once a week. I drive alot and I don't really use the A/C alot.

After a nice long drive back and forth, I have coolant all on my front bumper, and on my passenger side headlight. I open the hood and there is a "geyser" hole near my radiator where steam and coolant spits out. Its nasty as hell too. Its like that everyday and i'm sick of it!!

A week ago I flushed out my coolant from the bottom screw, put a hose through it, and drained it clear with water. Plugged it back up, filled it with coolant, turned on the engine, putted it on heat mode. I left all the air bubbles out, and even opened the "bleeder bolt" for the air to go out. Blah blah did what I needed to do.

Any suggestions? How to stop it from exploding everywhere?

EDIT !!!! I didn't mean it was cracker or anything, its the plastic part on the top of the radiator that has a hole where steam and such comes out. Thing is that Coolant comes out alot. There are no cracks or holes or anything. It just seems like it over heats, and just drinks up alot of coolant

you said there was a gyser hole? What is the coolant and steam actually spitting out from? If its from the radiator, you may just need to replace it cuz they do crack. If its the hose replace that and make sure everything is connected tightly.

Crank in radiator = replace
hole in hose = replace

If hoses and radiator are old replace both.

if you dont have the money and your plastic endtank is just cracked or has a hole, you can get this quiksteel plastic repair stuff at auto parts stores and it will fix it good.

How high did you fill the coolant?

How old is the radiator?
if your radiator spits out coolant you probably have a problem with:
1. bad thermostat
2. bad water pump
3 head gasket is going out
from what you are describing I would say its the option #3, but
make sure the radiator is working correctly first.

The thing you circled in the picture is the part that holds the radiator on. If its leaking from there then you probaly have a crack under it and its just squirting up through. Sounds like you need another radiator.

you need to have your radiator pressure checked, then retanked. ill bet you have a crack in the plastic endtank wich is causing the leak.

this is why i asked for a picture, all you people jumping to headgasket crack me up

Yeah, oh wellz. Thanks for all the help. The coolant leaks everywhere

I want a b18b or a b16 later, like this year. Should I still get the Koyo Radiator I always wanted? It doesn't matter right if I got a D-Series?

Sorry for noob question!
