My nuts cracking?
Now that I got your attention, I get a "crack" ing sound from my wheels when I start from a standstill. I have Kyokugens. Should I take them off and re-put them back on? I had my tires rotated and the guys used a impact gun.

Did they torque your lugnuts by hand with a torque wrench after they put them on with the impact gun? If they didn't, your lugs might not be torqued well. It could cause problems down the road.

Re: My nuts cracking? (EG Civic)
I've heard of Kyukogen's breaking after being installed with an impact, or the tool breaks. Get a torque wrench, you won't believe how often you use it.

Re: My nuts cracking? (Rexecutioner89Si)
check your nuts to see if they are tight.
this happened to me once and i assumed it was the cv joint to i was like ok ill get to that next week.
turns out my lugs were loose as ****!!
i actually lost two of them before i realized it was them and not the cv's
i'm not saying it's not your cv's but please check your lugs

Re: My nuts cracking? (khoalie)
Gaddamit I hope its not my CV. How much is it to replace anyways? Could I do it myself? (With my trusty Helms).
The guys used the impact gun to put the lugs on, but torqued them down with a torque wrench.
Thx guys. I'll go check.
